How to Insert/Embed Flash Video (swf,flv) in Blog Posts (Blogger)

If you see a video that you want to insert in your blog post then you just copy the HTML code given with the video to embed in a web page. But what to do when we want to embed a flash video(.swf)?

No HTML code is given with a flash video to embed in your web page. However you can obtain the link of the flash video, but still cannot embed in your web page or blog post. To embed a flash video in your blogger blog post, you need to place a small piece of code.
1. Create New Post, and switch to Edit HTML mode of post editor.
2. and paste this code wherever you want to show the flash video:

Include Your Signature To Your Blog Posts

First make your signature with any photo editing software, I used PaintShopPro. For the image I used png format, so it's transparent.


And then upload it to your web host, I used Picasa Web Album, to get url address.

And then go to Settings > Formating > Post Template
And paste this code to that Post Template box:

Removing Locked Gadgets

Sometimes you cant remove gadgets  because the designer of the template wants to keep the gadget there. Well you can remove them easy in the Edit HTML.

•  Go to Design from your  Dashboard.
• From Design go to Edit HTML.
• Once your in Edit HTML Click Ctrl+F.
• In the text bar that comes up type true.
• Keep hitting next until you find the true that is associated with the gadget you want to remove.

• Example: ( the Attribution1 is the Powered by Blogger at the bottom of new template)

• Now change the true to false. 

Or could just remove the full line of coding shown above if you feel comfortable doing so.
